Un grupo de actorxs y unx escritorx intentan llevar a escena el poema de Shakespeare La violaci\\u00f3n de Lucrecia. Hacen audiciones para todos los papeles, analizan el texto, representan las situaciones y conectan con sus propias experiencias. Y entre escena y escena, cantan y tocan en una banda que transforma toda la rabia y el dolor en m\\u00fasica.<\/p>\\n

Se convirtieron en lxs investigadores de un caso que a\\u00fan hoy define c\\u00f3mo pensamos sobre la violaci\\u00f3n. Hay ideas que nos persiguen durante a\\u00f1os hasta que finalmente decidimos enfrentarnos a ellas. En 2016, cuando ensayaba Campo Minado<\/em>, la obra sobre la guerra de Malvinas, improvis\\u00e1bamos sobre las razones por las que hab\\u00edan entrado al ej\\u00e9rcito cuando uno de los veteranos cont\\u00f3 un episodio de abuso sexual que hab\\u00eda sufrido en la infancia. Hablar de la guerra lo hab\\u00eda llevado a compartir algo que nunca le hab\\u00eda contado a nadie: una herida abr\\u00eda otra. Esa historia no form\\u00f3 parte de la obra, pero qued\\u00f3 dando vueltas dentro de m\\u00ed. Luego, ensayando otras obras y tambi\\u00e9n en mi vida privada, varias personas me contaron historias de abuso sexual en la c\\u00e1rcel, en la familia, en el trabajo. Todas esas historias llegaban hasta m\\u00ed sin buscarlas, como si esa violencia estuviera en el aire, en contextos muy diversos pero muy cerca de m\\u00ed. En realidad, son historias que est\\u00e1n muy cerca de todxs. Si no las vemos es porque est\\u00e1n atravesadas por el dolor, la verg\\u00fcenza y el silencio.<\/p>\\n

Cuando el Teatro de Basel me llam\\u00f3 para hacer una obra tuvimos muchas conversaciones sobre proyectos posibles, hasta que algo cristaliz\\u00f3. Yo hab\\u00eda estado releyendo el libro Rape de Mithu Sanyal, lo que me llev\\u00f3 a leer el poema \\u201cEl rapto de Lucrecia\\u201d de Shakespeare. Todo empez\\u00f3 a tomar forma poco a poco, de manera intuitiva y un poco azarosa, como me suele pasar. Supe que quer\\u00eda hacer una obra sobre un grupo de artistas que intentan poner en escena el poema de Shakespeare y terminan hablando de sus propias historias de violencia sexual, de c\\u00f3mo las historias ajenas los afectan y c\\u00f3mo se imaginan a s\\u00ed mismos en los roles del poema.<\/p>\\n

Encontrar a los protagonistas de esta aventura no era f\\u00e1cil. La obra no era la adaptaci\\u00f3n de una ficci\\u00f3n con personajes sino m\\u00e1s bien un experimento documental basado en un poema. Algunos actores escuchaban la palabra \\u201cviolaci\\u00f3n\\u201d y daban un paso atr\\u00e1s. Otros pensaban en la investigaci\\u00f3n incierta a la que se expondr\\u00edan y prefer\\u00edan no asumir el riesgo. Decidimos entonces hacer una convocatoria abierta, entrevistamos a varias personas, hicimos algunos workshops. Hasta que finalmente se consolid\\u00f3 un grupo de personas que nunca hab\\u00edan trabajado juntas: la artista Ntando Celle, el artista Phil Hayes, lx escritore Laura Leupi, los actores del ensamble Barbara Colcerieu y Julian Anatol Schneider y los m\\u00fasicos Elias Reidiguer y Joel Fonsegrive. Junto a ellxs y todo el equipo art\\u00edstico saltamos al vac\\u00edo.\\u00a0<\/p>\\n

Durante los meses de ensayos fuimos atravesando no solo los versos del poema sino tambi\\u00e9n la relaci\\u00f3n que cada uno pod\\u00eda establecer con \\u00e9l y sus personajes. Aparecieron historias que yo ni siquiera conoc\\u00eda. Era como si el poema nos empujara hacia un lugar desconocido de nosotrxs mismxs y precipitara las conexiones. En los ensayos Lo le\\u00edamos y rele\\u00edamos el poema, intent\\u00e1bamos entender cada una de sus frases, actuarlo, cantarlo, ponerlo en escena: los performers se transformaban en Lucrecias y en Tarquinios con vestidos y falsas armaduras. Por momentos nos re\\u00edamos de los intentos absurdos de representar los versos de Shakespeare y una hora m\\u00e1s tarde llor\\u00e1bamos escuchando nuestras historias. Por momentos nos sent\\u00edamos muy cansados, como si llev\\u00e1ramos sobre la espalda un gran peso. Todas las historias de todas las Lucrecias y los Tarquinios rondaban como fantasmas entre nosotros. Viaj\\u00e1bamos muy adentro de nosotros mismos y de nuestra historia. Tuvimos reuniones con Opfer Hilfe en las que nos enlazamos con ovillos de lana y acudimos a peque\\u00f1as piedras preciosas para que nos acompa\\u00f1aran en el camino. Cantamos canciones de amor y de violencia hasta quedar rendidos. Hablamos hasta no saber de qu\\u00e9 est\\u00e1bamos hablando y poco a poco le fuimos dando forma a la obra.<\/p>\\n

El rapto de Lucrecia: un casting<\/em> es un ensayo sobre la representaci\\u00f3n de lo imposible. Al exhumar, interpretar y discutir el poema de Shakespeare, los performers hacen mucho m\\u00e1s que reanimar un cl\\u00e1sico de la tradici\\u00f3n literaria: reabren un caso del pasado, lo despliegan en todas sus facetas y lo arrojan al escenario del presente, donde sus implicancias pol\\u00edticas resuenan como nunca.<\/p>\\n
