detuvieron en el aeropuerto por tr\u00e1fico de drogas. Nacho es un transexual que fue detenido por estafa y mont\u00f3 un grupo de rock en la c\u00e1rcel. Suaves o rudos, rubios o rapados, cis o trans, presos de larga duraci\u00f3n o reci\u00e9n ingresados: en este musical h\u00edbrido, todos ellos recrean sus vidas en una c\u00e1rcel de Buenos Aires. <em>REAS<\/em> es una obra colectiva que reinventa el g\u00e9nero musical: los int\u00e9rpretes bailan y cantan sobre su pasado en prisi\u00f3n, reviven su vida como ficci\u00f3n e inventan, a trav\u00e9s de la fantas\u00eda y la imaginaci\u00f3n, un futuro posible <em>para ellos mismos<\/em>.<\/p><div>NOTAS DEL DIRECTOR<br \/><br \/>En 2019, decid\u00ed hacer un taller de cine y teatro dentro de la prisi\u00f3n. Cantaron, bailaron y realizaron improvisaciones basadas en sus vidas para explorar c\u00f3mo transformar estas historias reales en un gui\u00f3n. Al principio, quer\u00eda hacer la pel\u00edcula en la c\u00e1rcel mientras cumpl\u00edan sus condenas. Pero entonces lleg\u00f3 la pandemia, y ya nadie pod\u00eda entrar en la c\u00e1rcel (ni visitas familiares, ni actividades art\u00edsticas, nada). Entonces, empec\u00e9 a pensar en filmar en la ex C\u00e1rcel de Caseros con gente reci\u00e9n liberada. La decisi\u00f3n de filmar fuera de la c\u00e1rcel con gente que ya hab\u00eda cumplido su condena fue fundamental porque me permiti\u00f3 reconstruir ese mundo a trav\u00e9s de los recuerdos de los protagonistas, tomando distancia de su realidad cotidiana.<br \/><br \/>Tambi\u00e9n me di cuenta de que la m\u00fasica y la danza eran formas perfectas de explorar sus recuerdos. As\u00ed fue como <em>REAS<\/em> acab\u00f3 siendo una pel\u00edcula documental-musical. El g\u00e9nero musical, que tradicionalmente retrata mundos marginales de forma estilizada y rom\u00e1ntica con actores y bailarines virtuosos, se convirti\u00f3 en un veh\u00edculo para reconstruir las historias reales de un grupo de personas que no ten\u00edan formaci\u00f3n actoral ni musical, para hacerlas brillar de una forma desconocida.<\/div><div>Quer\u00eda hacer una pel\u00edcula sobre una c\u00e1rcel de mujeres sin reproducir la estigmatizaci\u00f3n. A trav\u00e9s de canciones basadas en las experiencias de las protagonistas y coreograf\u00edas desarrolladas con ellas, la vida real se transform\u00f3 en ficci\u00f3n. Utilizamos distintos g\u00e9neros populares: una canci\u00f3n pop cuenta el deseo de Yoseli de viajar a Par\u00eds, una cumbia relata la compleja relaci\u00f3n entre las detenidas y el servicio penitenciario. En cada momento musical se desarrollan historias reales en direcciones insospechadas.<br \/><br \/>Durante el rodaje, tuve la certeza de que la estrategia musical era el camino correcto al ver c\u00f3mo los protagonistas brillaban en las escenas, las canciones y las coreograf\u00edas, al ser capaces de transformar esa experiencia traum\u00e1tica en otra cosa. Rodar en la c\u00e1rcel fue conmovedor, inquietante y tambi\u00e9n muy divertido. Filmamos un concierto para sus familiares y amigos e incluso transformamos el patio de la prisi\u00f3n en una playa con arena, palmeras y sombrillas. El objetivo de <em>REAS<\/em> no era hacer otro drama carcelario, sino centrarse en los lazos de amor y comunidad entre mujeres cis y personas trans que las mantienen vivas en un espacio de
